Introduction

Welcome to Carmel Valley Pest Control. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the pest control services, inspections, treatments, and SMS communications provided by Carmel Valley Pest Control (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By scheduling or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Services

Our services include pest inspections, treatments, and customer support. By using our services, you agree to provide accurate contact and property information, ensure access to the property at scheduled service times, and understand that services are subject to availability and scheduling.

2. Scope of Inspections and Treatments

Inspections and treatments are limited to accessible areas including attics, wall interiors, subfloors, crawl spaces, roof areas, behind appliances, enclosed patios, and areas blocked by furnishings or landscaping. We are not responsible for infestations or damage in inaccessible or hidden areas unless explicitly stated in writing. Guarantees do not apply to altered areas after treatment including construction, power washing, landscaping changes, or structural modifications.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide safe access to service areas, prepare the property as instructed, disclose known hazards or conditions, and maintain the property to prevent future infestations. Failure to follow instructions may affect service guarantees.

4. SMS and Text Messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages related to appointment reminders, service updates, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, orUNSUBSCRIBE. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to SMS messaging is not required as a condition of purchase.

5. Payments

Service fees are communicated before work begins. Payment terms and accepted methods are outlined in service agreements or invoices. Late payments may result in additional charges or service interruption.

6. Service Guarantee and Exclusions

Guarantees apply only to areas treated by Carmel Valley Pest Control. Exclusions include inaccessible areas, work performed by others, moisture-damaged or deteriorated materials, post-treatment alterations, mold, asbestos, and non-pest-related conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Carmel Valley Pest Control exercises professional care during services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the value of services provided.

8. Legal Compliance and Safety

All pesticides are regulated by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Follow all safety instructions provided. If symptoms occur after treatment, contact your physician, Poison Control Center (1-800-876-4766), and Carmel Valley Pest Control immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time and become effective upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updates.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
