- Seal all interior and exterior holes, cracks, and other openings in and around your home.
- Don’t feed your pets outdoors and store their food at night.
- Clean all ventilation systems and keep them running.
- Wash dirty dishes, wipe down tables and counters, and remove trash daily to eliminate leftover food and crumbs.
- To clean your pantry, remove products that have been sitting on the shelves for several months. Wipe down shelves with a clean cloth and sweep the pantry floor. Make sure all food containers and non-perishables are in tightly sealed containers.
- Vacuum all floors and carpets regularly.
- Vacuum up spiders, spider webs, and other pests and debris.
